The Frontier Journal is an editorial-reviewed platform focused on communicating scientific work performed by students. We welcome submissions year-round from high school researchers across all disciplines.

Ensure you meet the requirements before proceeding
Author Eligibility
Before completing your submission, please confirm the following:
- You are currently enrolled as a high school student
- Your work represents original research (review articles are not accepted unless specified)
- All co-authors and mentors support this submission
- You are willing to participate in the editorial revision process
Editorial Review Process
Unlike traditional peer review, Frontier Journal uses an editorial review process. Our editors examine your work for clarity, scientific validity, and formatting. It is common to receive requests for revisions to strengthen your manuscript before publication.
Manuscript Preparation

All submissions must use our official template to ensure consistency and professional presentation.

2,500 – 4,000 words recommended
High resolution (~300 dpi), embedded in text
IEEE or APA style as specified in template
Supplementary Materials
Package additional files for submission
If your research includes raw data, source code, high-resolution images, or supplementary tables that exceed the main manuscript, prepare them as follows:
Packaging Instructions
- 1Collect all supplementary files (Excel sheets, code repositories, high-resolution images, etc.)
- 2Create a folder named
lastname_supplementary - 3Compress the folder into a .ZIP archive
- 4Upload this ZIP file in the "Supplementary Materials" field during online submission
Online Submission
Complete your submission through the portal
Important: All submissions must be made through the online portal. Email submissions are not accepted.
Review Timeline
Administrative review of file integrity and eligibility requirements
Assignment to editor for content evaluation (typically 2-4 weeks)
Receive decision via email and dashboard (Accept, Revision, or Reject)
Upon acceptance, a publication fee may apply to cover hosting and archiving costs
